Digital.ai launches Quick Protect Agent for rapid no-code mobile app security

Artificial intelligence-powered software delivery solutions provider Digital.ai Software Inc. today announced Quick Protect Agent, a new agent that enables rapid, no-code mobile application protection as part of its enterprise-grade Application Security suite.

Quick Protect Agent provides enterprise-grade protection quickly, with no coding required. It includes Open Worldwide Application Security Project’s Mobile Application Security Verification Standard-aligned protections such as obfuscation, anti-tamper and anti-analysis, plus a user-friendly interface that helps shield apps in minutes.

The new offering seeks to assist organizations that design apps against the rise of freely available artificial intelligence tools that have made it easier for threat actors to reverse-engineer, analyze and exploit applications. According to Digital.ai’s 2025 App Sec Threat Report, 83% of all monitored applications had their security probed in 2024, representing a 20% year-over-year increase. With a significant increase in digital transactions worldwide and a rise in lucrative ransomware payouts, Digital.ai argues, today’s threat surface is too risky to ignore.

Digital.ai Quick Protect Agent delivers protections recommended by OWASP MASVS, the industry standard for mobile app security, allowing mobile software architects and developers to secure mobile applications at speed and scale. The new tool offers an easy-to-use graphical user interface that allows any team member to implement robust app security with minimal technical knowledge or skills.

The offering works with both iOS and Android apps.

“With Quick Protect Agent, we are expanding application protection to a broader audience, enabling organizations both large and small to add powerful protections in just a few clicks,” said Chief Executive Derek Holt. “In today’s AI world, all apps are at risk and by democratizing our app hardening capabilities, we are enabling the protection of more applications across a broader set of industries.”

During pre-launch testing, Digital.ai says a large multinational telecom company needed to deploy a new app within two days, with protection against reverse engineering as a key requirement. Using Quick Protect Agent, the company was able to rapidly apply app hardening measures through a simple point-and-click interface, enabling near-instant security integration without additional development work.

Digital.ai also has an Application Threat Scan service for organizations that want to quickly determine an app’s security posture, including where there are hidden weaknesses and what actionable recommendations can be taken to harden defenses.
